Introduction

When Jesus ascended into Heaven, he left his vision and mission for the Disciples to follow.

• Return to Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
• Move outward living as witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus, in a word, GO!
• Expand the Kingdom of God in the world, in a word GROW!

God’s vision and mission for the Spirit-filled Church is the same today as it was on Ascension Day.

• GO!
• GROW!

Vision words for this year… GO! and GROW!

• Christ Center will become a GOING Church.

  • Going into our neighborhood

• • Praying for our community

• • Ministering to our community

• • Witnessing to our family, our friends, our community

• Christ Center will become a GROWING Church.

Specific measures of Going and Growing.

• Two events outside our church to minister to our community.

• New believers finding faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized.

• Two new missional prayer groups meeting.

• New community-centered fellowship opportunities in small groups.

• New members joining the membership and ministry of Christ Center
