Last week’s complications and threat came from OUTSIDE the community.
This week’s threat comes from INSIDE the community.
The poor didn’t have enough food and resources.
Their brothers were loaning money and charging exorbitant interest and were levying heavy taxes.
One of the effects of sin on humanity is that we can no longer live in genuine community.
Nothing threatens the Church and its mission more than broken fellowship and fractured community.
