The One Who Put the NEW in New Life

Christ the Lord is RISEN! He is Risen indeed!

For many people today, the resurrection is just about the
“reanimation” of Jesus body.

We are so locked in on life in this world that we lose
sight of the real meaning of the Resurrection.

Jesus was different after the Resurrection.
People did not recognize Jesus, even those close to
him.

Jesus was not bound by earthly laws of nature.

Jesus bore in his glorified body the marks of the
crucifixion.

Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15 testifies to the reality of God’s
resurrection of Jesus.
Jesus appeared to
The women at the tomb
To Cephas
To the Twelve
More that Five-Hundred brothers and sisters
James, the apostles
And lastly to Paul

Jesus is the first fruit of the resurrection, bringing new
life to all who believe.

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins…But
God, being rich in mercy…made us alive together with
Christ and raised us up with Him…(Eph. 2.1-6a)

The resurrection of Jesus came to resurrect the New Life
of the Kingdom in our hearts.

What does God through Jesus want to resurrect in your
life this morning?
