For from the rising of the sun to its setting, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations says the Lord of hosts.

Introduction
How good is good enough?
Malachi ministered during the time of rebuilding from exile.
Malachi shares the words of the loving, faithful and holy God.
Jesus’s call is a call to radical obedience.
Malachi calls out the people’s guild for offering lame goats and blind sheep as sacrifices to God.
The attitude behind the worship was, “Well, it’s good enough!”
The people’s hearts had grown cold and weary of God..
Malachi asks the people, “How good is good enough?”
Malachi’s call is to revere God and to give God the people’s best!
Those who revered the LORD spoke with one another. The lord took note and listened. (Mal. 3.16 NRSV)
What kind of sacrifices are we offering God today?
The whole of our lives are to be reflections of the glory of God.
How does the sacrifice of our lives measure up to the worth of God?
